President of Kazakhstan Kassym Cömert Tokayev visited the Rixos Water World Aktau hotel complex, including a recently built amusement park. The related news was published on the official website Kursiv.kz on September 23.
In addition, the President inspected the construction of international hotels in the same area, which will be commissioned by the end of 2021, with a golf club, shopping malls, villas and apartments.
Over the next four years, the amount of investment in the development of tourism infrastructure in Mangistau region will be almost half a trillion tenge. Turkey's SML Construction and Kazakhstan's leading companies BI Group and Bazis-A are also building tourist facilities on 130 hectares of land on the Mangistau Peninsula. The tourist facilities being built by the above companies will be commissioned in 2026. The companies plan to invest 64.5 billion tenge in the project at their own expense.
It should be noted that Mangistau region is one of the leading tourist destinations in the country. It is home to many famous natural attractions and the Caspian Sea, one of Kazakhstan's unique beauties.
Development of the tourist infrastructure of Mangistau oblast will provide a significant increase in the flow of tourists. In the future, the number of tourists is expected to reach 750,000 annually.
