National Economy Minister of Kazakhstan Aset Irgaliyev stated that 5 chemical oil and gas plants will be established in Kazakhstan by 2025. The related news was published on the official website of Kapial.Kz on November 6.

In a briefing to Kazinform, Aset Irgaliyev said: "As part of the development of chemical oil and gas production in Kazakhstan, it is planned to commission 5 large high-tech chemical oil and gas plants by 2025 to increase non-resource exports and meet domestic demand."

According to Irgaliyev's statement, the volume of chemical oil and gas production will increase from 140 thousand tons to 2 million tons and imports will decrease from 87 percent to 72 percent. In this case, exports of chemical oil and gas products will increase 9 times and reach 1.4 billion dollars.

It is also among the information received that Kazakhstan is planning to increase the share of enterprises in the manufacturing sector by 2025.
