These projects, Magzum Mirzagaliev stressed, are important from the point of view of ensuring the advanced development of the electric power industry, the development of new capacities.

"You know that now the whole world, and Kazakhstan is no exception, has taken the direction of green energy and the economy, so such investments in renewable sources are very necessary. Our task is to reduce emissions by 15% by 2030 in accordance with the Paris Agreement, moreover the Head of State announced Kazakhstan's course to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. In this regard, it is thanks to such projects the transition to "green rails" will be ensured," he said.
