According to the news of Interfax-Kazakhstan agency, Kazakhstan President Kasım Comart Tokayev said that Kazakhstan will invest 20 billion dollars in a few years to diversify transit and transportation routes.

Tokayev announced at the Central Asia-China summit that Kazakhstan plans to invest in this area by 2025.

The head of state noted that, according to the World Bank, the development of the transport network in Central Asia could achieve a 15% growth in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the five countries.

In addition, the President of Kazakhstan pointed out that joint work should be intensified for the progress of the One Belt - One Road program, including the implementation of large projects with high costs.
