From May 8 to May 10, representatives of IT business and government agencies visited Turkey, where they discussed future joint projects and the development of cooperation.

In Ankara, they met with the Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey Mustafa Varank, President of TUBITAK, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey Adil Karaismailoglu, President of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin.

The Kazakhstan delegation also visited technoparks, held talks with representatives of venture funds and large IT companies in Turkey.

"In particular, we visited the offices of the largest e–commerce platform in Europe, the Middle East and Africa - Hepsiburada, the first and largest online food ordering site in Turkey, Yemeksepeti, the first Turkish decacorn company with a capitalization of $16.5 billion, Trendyol, a cooperative bank for SMEs Şekerbank, as well as the IT technopark Bilisim Vadisi," Bagdat Musin wrote.

During the official meetings, the achievements of the Kazakh IT sector were presented, presentations were made for Turkish venture funds and market representatives.

"We offered Turkish IT giants to launch their IT products on the Kazakhstan market. The initiatives of Kazakhstan on the transition to the platform model of digital architecture and the development of the center for digital transformation of state processes were presented. We talked about the measures of state support for the IT industry in Kazakhstan, the implementation of pilot projects of Kazakhstani IT companies in the field of Industry 4.0 and Smart city. A memorandum of understanding and cooperation was signed between Astana Hub and Bilisim Vadisi. We discussed cooperation in the field of promotion of IT goods and services of the two countries," Bagdat Musin summed up the meetings.
