In the coming years, the volume of trade between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan is planned to increase to $ 2 billion. This was announced by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym Jomart Tokayev within the framework of the first Eurasian Economic Union.

"Today I am in Bishkek at the invitation of President Sadyr Zhaparov. We have agreed to increase the volume of trade between our countries to $2 billion in the coming years. To achieve these goals, it is necessary to create conditions for entrepreneurs of our countries, this also applies to integration," Tokayev stressed.

According to the results of last year, the volume of mutual trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan increased by 35%, amounting to more than $ 1 billion.

Earlier, during a meeting with President Sadyr Zhaparov, Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan can offer Kyrgyzstan hundreds of types of goods and products with the support of KazakhExport.
