Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the president and CEO of the Yildirim Holding group of companies Robert Yuksel Yildirim, the press service of Akorda reports.

The prospects of implementing a number of joint investment projects in the chemical industry in Kazakhstan were discussed at the meeting.

Robert Yuksel Yildirim informed the head of state about the construction of a calcinated soda plant in Sarysu district of Zhambyl region in the amount of $ 400 million.

In addition, the Turkish businessman spoke about the implementation of an investment project for the extraction and production of chromium concentrate at the Voskhod mine in the Aktobe region, as well as joint work with Kazgeologia JSC on the exploration of solid minerals in a number of regions of the country.

Following the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the importance of developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkey and expressed support for the company's investment activities in Kazakhstan.
