Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Turkey Yerkebulan Sapiyev visited Gaziantep province to attract new Turkish investors to the economy of Kazakhstan. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the trip, meetings were held with 24 largest groups and companies of Gaziantep province specializing in the production of carpets, nonwovens, meat and dairy products, waste processing, petrochemical industry, food, consumer goods.
Potential investors highly appreciated the steps taken by Kazakhstan to further improve the investment climate and noted their interest in strengthening cooperation.
As a result of the visit, one third of Gaziantep potential investors are positively disposed towards investment cooperation with Kazakhstan and intend to visit cities of Kazakhstan in the coming months to begin active development of projects.
In particular, it is planned to start working on projects for the construction of factories in Kazakhstan for the production of carpets, meat products, waste paper processing and others.
