On December 13, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Gautam Adani, President of the largest Indian multidimensional holding Adani Group. On the sidelines of the interested dialogue, the prospects for the practical implementation of far-reaching and strategically significant investment plans were considered.

The Kazakh leader gave a positive assessment to the projections of the Indian multinational conglomerate related to the improvement and modernization of the transport infrastructure of the region.
The Head of State stressed that at this stage Kazakhstan intends to accelerate work on the development of the transport network. In this context, the Head of the republic specified that efforts are mainly focused on the progressive expansion of the functions of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Line.
In turn, the Indian businessman told the president about the company's interests in enhancing constructive cooperation with Kazakhstan and in other equally important areas of the economy. The spheres of energy, green technologies and petrochemicals were named the most in demand.
Adani Group is the third conglomerate in India, whose market capitalization has exceeded $ 200 billion. Now the company is a key player in the main economic directions. Among them are geological exploration and further development of natural resources, management of marine terminals, multimodal logistics and power generation.
