Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Minister of Trade and Integration Serik Zhumangarin informed that the republic is ready to export about 80 varieties of its products to the marketplaces of Pakistan for an amount close to half a million dollars. This was announced on December 26 by the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the 11th Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation, held in Islamabad, the Kazakh representative emphasized that Kazakh-Pakistani cooperation has enormous potential for development.

— Kazakhstan considers Pakistan an important and long-term economic partner in the South Asian region. Our business entities are determined to export grain and legumes, pasta, flour and confectionery products, while Kazakhstan is interested in importing Pakistani fruit and vegetable products. In general terms, our country is ready to increase the supply line to 80 types of processed goods worth $ 411 million," Zhumangarin said.

The Envoy of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan outlined promising vectors of cooperation. These are subsurface use, agriculture and light industry. In addition, constructive interest was actualized in expanding the geography of transport and export routes to the markets of South Asia for the shortest exit of Kazakhstani exporters to the southern ports.
