Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have a serious potential to increase the volume of trade turnover to $ 1 billion.
As the Report informs with reference to Sputnik-Kazakhstan, this was stated by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym Zhomart Tokayev during negotiations with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an expanded format.
“The trade turnover grew by 40% and reached half a billion dollars. I think this is a significant result. I am sure that as our economic potential is fully developed, we will be able to bring this figure up to $1 billion. For this, we have serious reserves in such areas as energy, transport, logistics, IT, agriculture, industry and others," Tokayev stated.
