The national mining company "Tau-Ken Samruk" and the Turkish D Mineral start a joint exploration project. After determining the areas that are promising from the point of view of geological exploration, the companies plan to create a joint venture.
The agreement on the main terms of the transaction was signed by the head of Tau-Ken Samruk Bakhyt Chirchikbayev and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of D Mineral Ilkhan Poiraz. Vice-Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Iran Sharkhan took part in the event, the press service of the Ministry of Industry reported.
Ilkhan Poiraz noted that D Mineral is aimed at versatile long-term cooperation with Kazakhstani companies.
After signing the agreement, the parties will begin to search and study promising areas for which it is planned to obtain licenses for exploration and the creation of a joint venture in the future. This enterprise will be focused on the search for gold deposits. Financing of exploration work is undertaken by the Turkish side.
D Mineral is part of the Dimin Group holding. The main activity is the extraction of iron ore and copper.
