Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov signed an agreement on management of joint investment fund with Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, member of the Supervisory Board of Azerbaijan Investment Holding Mikail Chingiz ogly Jabbarov, correspondent of Kapital.kz business information center reports with reference to the press service of the fund.
"This is a shareholder agreement to fix the basic conditions of management of the joint fund "SK-AIH Investment Fund Ltd.". It should be noted that this cooperation carries a strategic character for bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The activities of the Kazakh-Azerbaijani investment fund will be aimed at mobilizing investments in various sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, including the implementation of investment projects aimed at the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR)," the report says.
Recall that in March 2024 in Azerbaijan "Samruk-Kazyna" and Azerbaijan Investment Holding signed an agreement on strategic partnership, providing for the establishment of a joint venture on a parity basis. On June 27 of this year has already been registered a joint fund "SK-AIH Investment Fund Ltd." on the site of the International Financial Center "Astana".
July 1, 2024 it was announced that the fund "Samruk-Kazyna" became a 50% share of SK-AIH Investment Fund Ltd.
