Kazakhstan announced its intention to export “green” to Europe, using Azerbaijan as a transit territory. SK News reports that the plans were announced by the Ambassador of the Republic in Azerbaijan Alim Bayel at the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan tourism forum organized at the Embassy. He recalled the close trade and economic cooperation between the countries, especially in the field of energy, and emphasized the importance of the Trans-Caspian route.

Earlier, within the framework of the Tashkent Economic Forum, the Ministries of Energy of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan signed an agreement on the development of green sources of electricity and its transportation to promising markets. The European Union has expressed interest in acquiring clean energy.

“Azerbaijan is currently studying the project of constructing a cable laying along the bottom of the Black Sea,” Almasadam Satkaliyev, head of the Kazakh Ministry of Energy, informed recently. The large amount of expected investment in the project was also noted.
