Kazakhstan ratified the agreement with Kyrgyzstan on the logistics complex on the border. “The head of state signed the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On ratification of the agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the cabinet of ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on the establishment and regulation of the activities of the industrial trade and logistics complex in the area of the Karasu and Ak-Tilek road checkpoints,” said the statement.
The ratification is expected to ensure the expansion of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the field of support and development of production and entrepreneurship, development of the export potential of domestic goods and services, and will also help attract investment and improve trade and economic relations between the two countries.
In May this year, the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan said that the necessary investments in the complex will be about 30 billion tenge. And the activity of the complex will allow Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to increase trade turnover up to 3 billion dollars.
