Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic, Alymbek Orozbekov told about this at a press conference at the Kabar agency. According to him, 9.5 tons of gold was produced at Kumtor, which is 3 tons less than last year, 2.5 tons of gold was produced at the Altynken deposit.

 “In Kyrgyzstan, industry indicators depend on one enterprise as you know this is Kumtor CJSC, according to this, if for the 8 months there was a significant decrease by more than 13%, then given the increase in production at the Kumtor deposit over the last month, this indicator decreased up to 4.5%, ” Orozbekov said.
