The Ministers of Health of Kyrgyz Republic and Republic of Turkey have agreed to increase the quota for the treatment of Kyrgyz people in Turkish clinics to 150 people.

On 1 November, this was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Since 2015, the countries have been implementing an agreement on the provision of highly qualified assistance to Kyrgyz citizens in Turkey. It stipulated 100 quotas per year. With the new decision of the ministers of the two countries, the treatment quota for 100 people is raised to 150 people.

Choosing who will be sent for treatment in Turkey, made by a special commission. The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic is granted 50 quotas, the same amount to the Turkish Embassy in Kyrgyzstan. Travel expenses, food, accommodation, translation of documents are paid by patients.
