The city of Osh in Kyrgyzstan has been declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2019.
According to Anadolu Agency, the decision was made on December 18, in Kastamonu at the 36th meeting of the Permanent Council of Ministers of Culture of the TURKSOY countries.
Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said that the next meeting of the Permanent Council will be held in Osh. TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kaseinov also invited tourists to visit the new cultural capital of the Turkic world.
