Social contributions of migrants from Turkey will be transferred to Kyrgyzstan.
Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh ratified the agreement on social security between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in the third reading. The decision was made on December 20 at the meeting.
The document was signed on April 9, 2018 during the visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov to Turkey.
The agreement provides that if a citizen of Kyrgyzstan has worked in Turkey for a number of years, he/she will be able to receive a pension upon reaching the retirement age. Turkey will transfer his pension to Kyrgyzstan. In addition, a person can apply for a pension in Kyrgyzstan in accordance with his experience.
