The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in 2018 amounted to $ 481 million. This was reported today, January 29, by Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan Komil Rashidov at a briefing.
According to him, in 2018 the trade turnover between the countries increased by 189.6% compared with 2017.
The share of exports accounted for $ 348.2 million, and the share of imports for $ 132.8 million. The ambassador stated that the share in the external economic turnover of Uzbekistan was 1.4%
“Kyrgyzstan is on the 6th place in the list of countries exporters of Uzbekistan, and 20th in import. It is planned to increase the amount of trade turnover between the countries to $ 500 million, ”said K. Rashidov.
