In period of  January-October 2019, Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover  amounted more than $ 5.6 billion, and compared with same period of last year, decreased by 2.1%.

This was announce by the head of the department of summary work and dissemination of statistical information of the National Statistical Committee Chinar Turdubaev during a press conference in Bishkek, on December 11. According to her, country's exports increased by 14.1%, while imports decreased by 7.2%. “The increase in exports is due to a 1.6-fold increase in gold exports, whose share in the total volume of exports increased from 30.4% to 41.8% compared to January-November 2018,”. The supply of ceramic products increased by 1.7 %, fruits and nuts - 39.1%, meat -by 2.1%, tobacco and tobacco products - by 2.1%, dried leguminous vegetables - by 2%, ores  precious metals - by 17.6%.
