On October 15, 2021, the Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan, Boobek Acikeyev, met with Erdal Eren, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Contractors Association. The relevant news was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies.
Turkish officials gave information about the activities of the Contractors Association and stated that its members are the largest Turkish construction companies using new technologies to equip highways, tunnels, hydroelectric power plants, hospitals, government institutions and airports in Turkey and abroad.
In addition, Chairman of the Board of Directors Erdal Eren expressed that Turkey hopes that the issue of expanding Turkish companies in the regions of Kyrgyzstan will be brought to the agenda at the level of the Kyrgyzstan Government.
At the end of the meeting, it was noted that the parties thanked each other and expressed their hope for the steps to be taken to further deepen the Kyrgyzstan-Turkey cooperation in the field of construction.
