Kyrgyzstan Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev met with Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Shadurdy Meredov. The related news was published on the official website Kabar. Kg on 29 October.
According to the press service of the Ministry, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbayev first congratulated the Ambassador for the start of his diplomatic work. It was also noted that the Ministry stated that it was ready to make every effort to establish an effective dialogue with the heads of diplomatic representations of foreign countries and international organizations in Bishkek.
At the same time, Ruslan Kazakbayev gave information about the preparations for the "EU, the first economic forum in Central Asia" to be held on November 5, 2021 and additional events organized within the forum.
During the meetings, the parties also exchanged views on the status and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Investment of Kyrgyzstan reports: “The parties also discussed infrastructure projects, including the deepening of trade, economic and investment cooperation, implementation of the transport sector and trade, investment and energy resources. In this context, the regular meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkmen intergovernmental commission on commercial, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation should be held in the near future.
