“Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to deepening cooperation with Turkmenistan in trade, economy, energy and other fields,” President Sadir Japarov said during a meeting with Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The two leaders discussed the current state of Kyrgyz-Turkmen relations, the draft agenda of the ECO summit and the implementation of the agreed agreements.

Emphasizing that the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) is an important regional structure, Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov stated that the Turkmen side is ready to continue its mutually beneficial cooperation with the member states.
