Vice President of Kyrgyzindustria JSC Azamat Baiyshbekov, during a visit to the largest Turkish plant of the Sasa Company in the city of Adana, proposed to the member of the board of the Erdemoglu holding Mehmet Sheker to create a joint venture for the production of hosiery products in Kyrgyzstan.

The press service of Kyrgyzindustry OJSC reported that the Sasa plant is part of the Erdemoglu holding and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of polyester, fiber and other products made from this polymer.

The area of ​​the plant is more than 2.1 million square meters, more than 6 thousand people are employed.

Sheker said that the plant has powerful and advanced production technologies, including full automation and robotization of processes. In terms of production, the plant is the largest in Europe and the second largest manufacturer of these products in the world, second only to India.
