Kyrgyzstan is interested in opening a joint venture with South Korea for the production of electric vehicles and passenger trucks. This was stated on September 26 by the head of JSC "Kyrgyzindustria" Jarasul Abduraimov at the first Kyrgyz-Korean forum in Bishkek.

"We are ready to establish cooperation and open joint ventures for the production of passenger electric cars and passenger trucks. For example, Hyundai Porter, which are very popular in our country," he said.

According to him, at the moment the Kyrgyz Republic can borrow South Korean experience in the light and textile industries. "The involvement of modern technologies will help this sector of the economy to become one of the most competitive. We are very interested in cooperation," he added. The forum was organized by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in South Korea and the Korean Institute of Dyeing and Design Technologies.
