In the village of Ak-Suu of the Moscow district, a joint production of cars with UzAutoSanoat will be organized. This was announced today, January 17, by Deputy Minister of Economy Ainura Usenbekova at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on the fuel and energy complex.

The Committee is considering a draft agreement between the Governments of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan "On cooperation in organizing the production of automotive and commercial equipment in the Kyrgyz Republic."

The organization of production will be divided into three stages:

- at the first stage (3 years), 10 thousand cars and commercial vehicles with a degree of localization of 5-10% will be produced;

- at the second stage (4-5 years), 20 thousand cars and commercial vehicles with 15-20% localization will be produced;

- at the third stage (6 years), 30 thousand cars will be produced.

The signing of the agreement, according to the Deputy Minister, is planned during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on January 26.
