The city of Osh will develop bilateral relations with the cities of Hungary, including in the field of economy and attraction of investments. This was stated on January 20 at a meeting between Vice Mayor of Osh Jasur Azimov and Ambassador of Hungary to the Kyrgyz Republic Shandor Dorogi.

During the talks, the sides discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation, including in the direction of the development of twinning ties, in the fields of education, economy, investment, the press service of the Osh City Hall reported.

Vice Mayor Azimov suggested strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, including developing bilateral ties, taking into account the establishment of twinning relations between the cities of Osh and Szeged.

Ambassador of Hungary, in turn, noted the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation in prospective areas, including in the economic sphere, increasing joint ventures, cooperation through project support through the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (VKFR), as well as expanding interuniversity cooperation.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation.
