According to an interview with the Kabar agency, Deputy Director of the Kyrgyzstan National Investment Agency, Nuradil Bayasov, a new Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan enterprise is being opened in the Osh region of Kyrgyzstan for the production of chemical fertilizers and the preparation of corn for export to Uzbekistan.

This project is being carried out by businessmen of the two countries who have been cooperating for a long time. They signed the relevant agreement on January 26 during the "Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" business forum held in Bishkek.

Nuradil Bayasov“ "11 documents worth 168 million dollars were signed today. Agreements on the export of corn and meat products to Uzbekistan have begun to be implemented. The total amount of these is 120 million dollars. The companies have been cooperating for many years. Nevertheless, today we are considering the possibility of creating a joint venture for the production of fertilizers and the export of corn in the city of Osh,” he said.

At the same time, he said that preparations were made to sign a big project for the production of Ravon brand cars belonging to Uzbekistan in the Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan. The document will be signed between UzAvtoSanoat from Uzbekistan and DT Tehnik and NUR companies from Kyrgyzstan.

The first memorandum on this project was prepared in 2017. Since then, many negotiations have taken place and controversial issues have been resolved. Today, as Nuradil Bayasov has stated, the project has reached the stage of full implementation.
