A new Kyrgyz-Uzbek enterprise for the production of chemical fertilizers and preparation of corn for export to Uzbekistan will open in the Osh region. This was stated by the Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuradil Bayasov in an interview with the Kabar agency.

He noted that this project will be implemented by entrepreneurs who have been cooperating with each other for a long time. They signed the corresponding agreement today at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek Business Forum in Bishkek.

"In total, 11 documents were signed today for a total of 168 million dollars. For corn and meat products (ed. – export from the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan), contracts have already begun to be implemented. Their total amount is $ 120 million. The companies have been steadily cooperating for many years. I think the work will be carried out in this format at first. Along with this, today we are considering the possibility of creating a joint venture for the production of fertilizers and the export of corn. It will be located in Osh," Bayasov shared.

At the same time, he pointed out that a major project is being prepared for signing tomorrow to create a site in the Chui region for large-block assembly of cars of the Ravon brand. The document will be signed by UzAvtoSanoat and the domestic companies DT Technik and NUR. The initial memorandum on this project was signed in 2017. Since that year, a number of negotiations have taken place and controversial issues have been resolved. Today, as Bayasov pointed out, most of the problems have already been eliminated, and the project is at the stage of full implementation.
