On March 29, 2023, a bilateral meeting of the leaders of Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC with a delegation of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine of Uzbekistan was held. This was reported by the company's press service.
The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, especially in the development of the mining industry of the two countries. They paid special attention to the issues of joint implementation of technology for processing tailings and the development of technology for heap leaching of dumps.
The issue of joint development of deposits on the territory of Kyrgyzstan was also touched upon.
It is noted that the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine is one of the ten largest gold producing companies in the world.
