The Investment Agency has signed a memorandum with the Kyrgyz-Kazakh joint company Kun Bulagy LLC on the construction of a solar power plant with a total capacity of 50 MW in the Toru-Aigyr rural municipality of Issyk-Kul district. This was reported in the press service of the department.

As noted, the preliminary investment amount of the project is $ 35 million. This memorandum is the basis for concluding a direct investment agreement.

The investment company "Kun Bulagy" intends to develop design and estimate documentation in the near future, provide financing for the project, put into operation a solar power plant no later than 2024, and also provide electricity generation of at least 80 million kWh per year.
