The export success of the Turkish defense and aerospace industry is increasing day by day. Having previously procured Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs from Turkey, Kyrgyzstan recently received AKINCI and AKSUNGUR UCAVs at the same time. The UCAVs were used in the demonstration and tactical trainings held at the Edelveys training area in the Issyk-Kul region of the country.

The exercise was also watched by President Sadyr Japarov. New military equipment, AKSUNGUR and AKINCI UCAVs, engineering and electronic warfare equipment, armored vehicles, weapons and domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the inventory of the Border Guard Service of the Kyrgyz Republic were demonstrated at the Edelveys training ground. Japarov was shown the tactical and technical features of the Akıncı and Aksungur UCAVs and demonstrated their firepower.

"We are pleased that for the first time in the history of the country, Bayraktar TB2, AKINCI and AKSUNGUR unmanned aerial vehicles were purchased from the state budget in the context of the supply of modern weapons and military equipment to our Armed Forces and Border Security Service," Japarov said in his speech here.

In Kyrgyzstan, which received AKSUNGUR and AKINCI UCAVs from Turkey, Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar was presented the Dank State Award by the President.

On the other hand, it is known that Kyrgyzstan has also procured the KARGU Strike UAV produced by STM, the İHTAR Anti-Dron System produced by ASELSAN and the ŞAHİN 40mm Physical Destruction System. Kyrgyzstan became the first country to procure AKINCI, AKSUNGUR and Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs from Turkey at the same time.

On the other hand, along with the UCAVs, MAM-L and MAM-T ammunition were also included in the inventory of the Kyrgyz Army.
