Two car factories will be launched in 2024 in Kyrgyzstan, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov said at the Agrodialogue Forum on February 27.
According to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Uzbek-Kyrgyz and Chinese-Kyrgyz automobile plants are planned to be launched this year.
"By August 31, together with China, we will launch a plant for the production of electric cars, and on May 1 we will launch the Kyrgyz-Uzbek automobile plant," he explained. Japarov added that Kyrgyzstan needs to join the global automobile production chain.
