The International Business Forum of the Organization of Turkic States started on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul on June 27. It was presented by 6 countries: Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, as well as observer countries: Hungary, Northern Cyprus and representatives of European chambers, they will discuss attraction of investments into the countries and realization of joint projects.
Making a welcoming speech, Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Temir Sariev noted that more and more conditions are being created to improve contact between the countries.
Sariev reminded that the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railroad will start in October. "Once put into operation, this road will be the shortest road that leads to Turkey and Europe. Also, the alternative North-South road will bring Uzbekistan much closer to the northern part of Kyrgyzstan and then to Kazakhstan. It will improve relations between the countries and trade," Temir Sariev said, noting that it should be used.
He recalled that the establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund with investment was one of the important steps in joint development.
