On October 26, 2018, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved the concept of state policy in the sphere of cooperation with compatriots living abroad. The document was published in the official press on October 26.
For compatriots will simplify the registration of entry visas, including multiple-entry and long-term residence permits and permits for employment in the territory of the republic.
In addition, highly qualified experts in popular specialties will be employed in Uzbekistan.
Compatriots will be provided with empty government facilities and land for the implementation of entrepreneurial, research and innovation projects.
The concept also provides for the allocation of grants to compatriots for training in the higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan in the areas of the Uzbek language and literature, history, cinema, culture, theatrical art, television and radio.
