Uzbekistan ranks first among CIS countries for remittances from Russia. This is stated in the data of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
According to official data, for three quarters of 2018, 9 billion 800 million dollars were sent from Russia to other countries. Of these, about 3 billion 50 million dollars were sent to Uzbekistan.
At the same time, 1 billion 900 million dollars were sent to Tajikistan, 1 billion 700 million dollars to Kyrgyzstan and 500 million dollars to Kazakhstan .
Earlier, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan reported that in the first half of 2018 $ 2 billion 300 million was sent to Uzbekistan from abroad, and most of this money was sent from Russia, the rest was from Turkey, Kazakhstan, the United States and South Korea.
