Uzbekistan's total reserves (total gold and foreign exchange reserves) by decreasing in $ 995.5 million last year made up $ 27 billion 81.4 million.

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan made a statement on the country's total reserves. Accordingly, the total reserves of the country, which was 28 billion 76.9 million dollars on January 1, 2018, decreased by $ 995.5 million in the last year and were reported to have decreased to 27 billion 81.4 million dollars.

In the statement it said that on January 1st, 2018, 14 billion 34.1 million dollars of the gold reserves in the last year  with an increase by $ 606.6 million made up 14 billion 640.7 million dollars. Foreign exchange reserves, which were 14 billion 42.8 million dollars in this period, with decline by 1 billion 602.1 million dollars it dicreased to 12 billion 440.7 million dollars.

Meanwhile, according to the State Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan, which is among the top ten gold producing countries in the world with 90 tons of gold produced annually, generated a total of 2 billion 909 million dollars in foreign sales last year.

According to official data, the total reserves of the country, which was 26 billion 428.8 million dollars on 1st of January 2017, had reached 28 billion 76.9 million dollars by January 1st 2018 with an  increase by 6.2 percent in the previous year.
