The trade turnover between Turkey and Uzbekistan in 2018 with an increase by 39.9 percent has made up 2 billion 171.8 million dollars, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

According to the committee, the country's trade turnover last year increased by 27.3 percent to 33 billion 815.3 million dollars compared to the previous year.

Uzbekistan's exports in 2018 increased by 13.6 percent to 14 billion 257.9 million dollars, imports  by 39.6 percent to 19 billion 557.4 million dollars. The lack of foreign trade in 2018 amounted to 5 billion 299.5 million dollars.

Last year, China became the largest trading partner of Uzbekistan - the trade turnover between the countries reached $ 6 billion 427.8 million, which is 19 percent of the total foreign trade of the country.

Uzbekistan's exports to China amounted to 2 billion 869 million, imports to 3 billion 558.9 million dollars.

The second place was taken by Russia with a share of 16.9 percent, 5 billion 530.6 million dollars, of which 2 billion 193.1 million dollars accounted for exports, 3 billion 537.6 million for imports.

According to the state committee, the trade turnover between Turkey and Uzbekistan in 2018 increased by 39.9 percent to 2 billion 171.8 million dollars. Uzbekistan’s exports to Turkey during this period amounted to 936.2 million, imports totaled 1 billion 235.6 million dollars.
