In 2019, Uzbekistan has been listed among ten most attractive countries for Muslim tourists from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries.
According to the report, besides Uzbekistan, Iran and Indonesia are in the top ten of the rating. The list includes member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Countries that remain attractive to Muslim tourists are Turkey, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Tunisia and Kazakhstan.
The rating took into account the historical and current importance of the country for the Islamic world, as well as the conditions created for Muslim tourists, climate, security and transport services.
