UzAuto Motors has signed an agreement with its Alliance partner, General Motors Company, to sell Uzbek cars abroad. According to the company's press service the first models available from March 2020 in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus under the brand Chevrolet will be Spark, Nexia and Cobalt.
The right to use the Chevrolet brand in foreign markets is granted to the domestic manufacturer due to the high quality of cars that fully meet the standards set by one of the leaders of the world auto industry - General Motors Company.
UzAuto Motors will manage the distribution of Chevrolet models produced in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Working under a single brand will open new opportunities for further development of the automotive industry in Uzbekistan and sales in export markets. The sale of cars under the Ravon brand in Russia and the CIS countries will cease by mid-2020.
