According to the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) Uzbekistan is going to produce its own ALV apparatuses. The country will start manufacturing its own artificial lung ventilation and anesthetic breathing devices. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of innovative development of the Republic. The production will be launched in May of this year.
It was reported, "The construction of the production site on the territory of the Bektemir district in Tashkent is planned to be completed before September of this year, when the plant will be put into operation". It is planned to attract $3 million investment at the first localization stage of production and open 30 job places. At the second stage, the investment will grow to 5-6 million dollars, and the available job places will increase up to 100.
A joint Slovak-Russian-Uzbek enterprise CHIRANA ASIA has been established to manufacture and produce innovative devices. "It is the first time for Central Asia to produce a device of this kind, which will speed up import substitution in the medical industry. In addition, a powerful service center of spare parts will be established for repair. It is planned to hold seminars on the use of ALV and NDA by the invited high-class foreign specialists in the field of anesthesiology," - press release reports. The products are planned to be exported to Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.
