The Tajik Telegraph Agency (Tajikta) reported on Thursday, 18 wagons with humanitarian aid - flour and medical supplies arrived in Dushanbe from Uzbekistan to fight COVID-19.
It was reported in the government of the Republic of Tajikistan, "The wagons contain one thousand tons of flour, antiseptic and disinfectants, medical robes, gloves, masks, shoe covers, respirators and glasses."
The Deputy Prime Minister Azim Ibrohim and Minister of Health Nasim Olimzoda went to receive the humanitarian aid. Earlier, the United States government through the United States Agency for International Development allocated $ 868,923 to strengthen Tajikistan’s ability to respond to the currently developing COVID-19 pandemic.
