In 2020, the regions and cities of Uzbekistan should build apartment buildings for 30 thousand apartments. For this reason, the President of the country Shavkat Mirziyoyev on April 20 instructed to accelerate the pace of construction and allocate land for the construction of housing. This was reported by CentralAsia.news in the press service of the head of state.
During the meeting, it was noted that 25 cities of Uzbekistan have not yet allocated sites for construction.
First of all, the meeting stressed that it is necessary to eliminate all existing shortcomings in this area as soon as possible, and also instructed to allocate land for the construction of apartment buildings in regions with high housing needs.
For this reason, Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to send an additional 3.6 trillion soums to the industry.
In addition, the Uzbek leader, in a conversation with officials, “determined” to introduce mechanisms according to which, with the state fund for supporting the development of entrepreneurial activity, allocate to private organizations compensation for expenses on interest on loans and sureties in the amount of up to 50 percent of the loan amount.
Also, it will be useful for the population to extend the mortgage issued under the new procedure from 15 to 20 years, increasing the upper limit of the mortgage amount based on market requirements.
Without any doubt, the construction industry of Uzbekistan is a determining factor of the country's economy, as it provides employment for 1 million 325 thousand citizens of the Republic and supports employment in other industrial areas.
Moreover, the Ministry of internal Affairs is instructed to create all conditions for the movement of transport of industry enterprises and manufacturers of building materials.
