On April 30, the Turkish Agency for Сooperation and Сoordination (TICA) handed over humanitarian aid to Uzbekistan, the national chamber of innovative health of Uzbekistan reported.
The cargo arrived in the Republic includes 5000 sets of personal protective equipment for doctors: overalls, glasses, masks, gloves and shoe covers.
At the signing of the documents on the transfer of cargo, Turkish Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mehmet Süreyya Er noted the high level and timeliness of measures taken by the government of Uzbekistan to curb the spread of coronavirus, which is why the country is successful in this direction.
