In January-September 2021, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover (WTO) reached $28.22 billion, an increase of $680.4 million (2.5% increase) compared to the same period of 2020. The related news was reported by the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

According to the information obtained from the Uzdaily.Uz website, it was announced that exports amounted to 10.33 billion dollars (a decrease of 17.2% compared to January-September 2020), and imports amounted to 17.88 billion dollars (18.7% increase) from the total foreign trade turnover. As a result, it was recorded that the foreign trade balance was realized as a passive balance of $7.55 billion.

Uzbekistan has an active foreign trade balance with four countries, mainly Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkey, its 20 largest foreign economic partners. The remaining 16 countries maintain a passive foreign trade balance.

Uzbekistan today maintains commercial relations with 179 countries of the world. The largest volume of foreign trade turnover is China (19.1%), Russia (18.1%), Kazakhstan (9.9%), Turkey (8.6%), South Korea (4.9%), Kyrgyzstan (2, 4 %) Germany (2.0 %).
