According to the data of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, Turkey, which established 321 companies in the January-October period, ranked first among the countries that established the most companies with foreign capital.

According to the report, over the past 10 months, 1,808 companies with foreign capital have been put into operation in the country. As of November 1, the number of companies with foreign capital in the country amounted to 13,283 people.

After Turkey, Russia with 296 companies took second place and China with 219 companies - third. 166 companies with Kazakh capital and 80 companies with South Korean capital were created.

While companies with foreign capital showed the most interest in Tashkent, Samarkand, Surhanderya and Fergana, foreign businessmen especially invested in the health, industry, trade, information technologies, construction and agriculture sectors.

As of November 1, the number of foreign-owned enterprises in the country was calculated as 13 thousand 283, and within this framework, the number of companies with Russian capital was 2 thousand 335, the number of companies established with Chinese capital was 1942, the number of enterprises with Turkish capital was 1830 and the number of enterprises with Kazakhstani capital was 1056.

Last year, 1,490 enterprises with foreign capital were established in the country. As of January 1, 2021, the total number of foreign-owned companies in the country had reached 11,475.
