According to local media reports, deals worth $7.8 billion were signed as a result of the Tashkent International Investment Forum. The first Tashkent International Investment Forum (TMIF) completed its work in the capital of Uzbekistan.

The event brought together more than 2,000 participants, including major investors and high-level guests from 56 countries around the world.

As a result of the forum, an agreement and investment agreement package worth 7.8 billion dollars was signed. Preliminary agreements were also reached for the implementation of projects worth 3.5 billion dollars.

Moreover, the forum is expected to be a permanent platform to identify areas of mutual interest to attract foreign investments and modern technologies to the economy of both Uzbekistan and the entire Central Asian region, and to establish direct links between entrepreneurs in the region and foreign business circles.
