On June 21, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev signed a Declaration on deepening strategic partnership and increasing comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, the presidential press service reports.

According to the information, 18 documents were signed between the governments, ministries and departments of the two countries in the presence of the heads of state. In particular, agreements on cooperation between the regions, in the field of industry, international road transport, combating illegal migration, quarantine and plant protection, on military and military-technical cooperation, as well as a program of cooperation in the field of tourism. These documents are designed to promote the deepening of practical cooperation in a number of promising areas of interaction between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, the press service noted.
