Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have agreed to establish an International Industrial Cooperation Center in the near future, the press service of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.

The decision on the development of industrial cooperation was made during the negotiations of the delegations of the two countries. The parties intend to develop design and estimate documentation on the organization of the external and internal infrastructure of the International Center for Industrial Cooperation as soon as possible, as well as an appropriate intergovernmental agreement on the regulation of its activities.

The countries are considering the possibility of implementing joint projects in the automotive industry, the production of phosphorous and complex mineral fertilizers, and the electrical industry. In addition, cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry and agriculture was discussed. There are also prospects for transport and logistics cooperation - in particular, the number of flights between the two countries will increase.
